Just got the UPS notification...my replacement Brocock Ranger XR in 22 is on its way from AOA. So maybe next week I can take it out to my permission for some pigeon work and pellet testing.

I have to admit I love the platform and when I saw the Ghost I thought of changing my order from the Ranger to the Ghost. However, I have a Prophet II lined up end of next so I see for now duplication. I wonder though how the Ghost would be for a 177 slug shooter? :sneaky:
 
Okay Spector III arrived today...it is the standard Ranger XR not the Iguana edition, fine by me. However, the stock definitely has been used and shows wear and more play in the stock folded than the last two Rangers.

Also, the RTI HUSH won't work, because it is recessed and the short barrel shroud combo doesn't allow for the spacing needed. I will use the Tatsu vs the 0dB that came with the gun. Tomorrow I will mount the scope but still disappointed that the stock shows significant use for a gun out of the box. Parts are worn. Otherwise the gun is okay. I assume it was a display model.

Glad you finally got your Ranger XR… too bad about the stock not being satisfactory. How does it lockup extended? Hopefully you can shoot some targets and pests with it this weekend. You can ask AOA to maybe send you a new stock? Took ten more pest birds with my Atomic XR today. Friggin gun just plain rocks. Put that Ranger XR to work, its hungry.
