well, the Hawke mid-rise dovetail mounts came in yesterday. Just had time to swap the Centerpoint 3-9x32 mildot scope from the GuideHawk NP to the model 70 (both Crosman's). Tomorrow, the Sonicking 3-9x40AO is due to arrive. Big thank you to Joe Rhea for the giveaway contest. I can't wait to put it through it's paces on the GuideHawk NP!

The sight went totally screwy yesterday afternoon! The button to post wouldn't work that you could see on the screen, so to me it wasn't posting. Screen didn't even change. So then it decided to tell me I'm trying to post too quick again!? So I'm trying and trying to post at all! Then when it finally figures out what it wasn't doing, I see a whole page of posts! I tried contacting them to fix it, but hasn't happened yet. Wish I could delete all but one myself? And today, the first time I tried to sign in, it timed out with ERROR 354 again. So I ""X'd" out, came back a lil later, and the site is working pretty normal so far. Something is seriously wrong here? And this is the only site that behaves like this?...

So, my friend.. Did you have a chance to try the poster board shades on your Caldwell chronograph yet? They sure did the trick on mine. I was messing with an assortment of .177 JSB's Sunday and the Caldwell didn't miss a beat. Keep shooting.

I'm going to try it as soon as the lightening storms and darkness from those hurricanes finally decide to move on. Too dark to film. But I will get to setting up a pair of poster board blinders for my Caldwell chrono. I'll be using the white LED's for this experiment, as they are notched out in the right places for the kite string mounting loops. I really hope this works for me. It'll save me 200 bucks buying the G2...which I might do eventually anyway?

I was pleasantly surprised today. The seal kit I ordered from Bakers got here priority mail today! Wife was shopping at Walmart and got me a flexible steel ruler I need for checkering layout work. My checkering guide should be here with the bordering tool in a couple more days.
