Spark compressor not working right? 1hr to fill 580cc tank

The 580cc tank on the blitz is taking is taking a LONG time to fill up with a brand new hatsan spark. Is this normal? It got to 190degrees three times now and the blitz isn't full yet. Should it really take an hour (including breaks to cool) to fill this gun with the spark compressor? My ears hurt from the high pitched cooling fan lol

First off run it up to some pressure near 2000psi then shut it down without purging and listen for leaks. It may just be a small leak.

Remember though they are disposable compressors. Suggested rebuild time on most of the Chinese oil-less water-less compressors is at 20 hours less if there were quality control problems or the unit was werqed a bit hard.

I had the same problem, the bleeder valve would not close completely.

I took pliars and closed it, then repurposed my tank fill assembly, joe B bleeder valve with the 2 inch gauge, to replace the fill nippile on the Spark.

My Spark bleed assembly stays closed and inoperative and I now have a bleeder assembly that works and a gauge that is accurate and large enough that I can see it.
