Resources Sourcing FT Targets

Thanks for the recommendation that’s exactly what I’m looking for but looks like he may be closed for the rest of the year.
I believe Paul moved and is still resetting his work shop? His KZ’s are according to your request. His targets look like these:

But you can buy gamo targets and then put some aftermarket faceplates on them

you order the KZ by size desired like this one:

@Nofilters may also know a source.
The best targets were MDT made by Mike Smith who passed away, and I don’t think his daughter has continued his craft?
His look like these:

Here is an idea you may like. I just checked the prices on the Gamo Squirrel and the Air Venturi Running Rat and WOW, both have jumped to like $45 - $50
I made a few of these over the years and you can still get the Crosman Squirrel for under $20. They are also easy to put out, pick up and move around. I reduced some kill zones from 1 1/2 to 1 3/8 and 1 1/16 by drilling some washers and bolting them to the targets. With the larger kill zones I usually use these out at farther distances and my other FT target for closer distances. With these targets you do need to take the reset shot but that just more practice.. Just a thought as you can put together 4 or so for about $100. Good luck :)

I have a few of these and I've bent up the faceplates on them pretty good. I'm leaning more towards the pull string setup to reset. I'm planning on having 9 lanes (2 targets per) that wrap around a 20 acre property along a golf cart path I have. Having to reset with an additional shot will mean more pellets, pellets that I will be supplying for friends and family :D. Should be fun for all once I get it setup.

You can start out with some rat on the run targets..

Perform a few easy mods including adding a spring...

Mix up face plates with a little cutting and bolting or welding...

Or just leave them all rats and paint them in different colors.

You'll be happy and be shooting in no time!

UK based field targets. Pay via bank transfer. Best value and very reliable even for 20 FPE.
Trust me I wish flop over had a Franchise in the United States! Not sure shipping and other fees would be worth it.

The organizers of the 2027 WFTC in Canada have invited clubs from the USA to update their target inventories. They will be purchasing a large number of targets for the championship, and have invited clubs across the country to go in on the purchase to help offset their costs. This is your chance to get the good number of targets you wanted and may have missed at WFTC 2024. At this point there is no definitive answer on price, however it’s anticipated to be very, very reasonable. These are the same type of targets that were here in Arizona at the WFTC, but different designs. Shipping logistics are not yet defined. Designs are in the works. However, at this point they are gauging interest, and starting the plan.

If this is something your club is interested in, please reach out to Zach at [email protected] and he will coordinate everything from here.
(I wouldn't sit on this either as this would be a one-time deal)
