Sound deadening material inside shroud?

I have used thin felt sheets.
In one case I built in-shroud moderator for my Snowpeak P35.

In other case, I took Huma-Air moderator (MOD30-3/0 Avalanche) and took it apart. Then wrapped every section internal baffle one half in felt.

In both cases that felt wrapping made big difference for what I can hear with my ears. In that Huma-Air case I do not know that how much did Db-s drop, if any, but it sounds more pleasant to my ears.
That P35 in-shroud mod is super quiet.
Both are in .177cal FAC. That Huma-Air mod. is for AirMaks Krait L.
