Recently picked up a Vector Veyron 3-12x44 FFP Scope to compliment the compact/lightweight style of my Dreamlite Compact. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that I could no longer fit the Side-Shot scope cam mount onto my rig since the scope tube was so short and there wasn't nearly enough room left on either side of the tube with the scope rings in the way. Decided to do a little milling to fix the problem, and got some video for your viewing pleasure.

Looks like that did exactly what you wanted it to. I only wish I could machine stuff like that but you have to have more than a worn out 7x10 mini lathe to do so. As well as a bit bigger shop. Nice werq.

I’m a bit of a hobby machinists so I enjoy seeing these types of projects / videos. 
I did the same thing a few weeks ago. In order to make a more secure mount for my IR light.

 Crosman 600 parts are nearly ghosts.Never could find this broken part. It's sintered iron and can't be silver soldered........so I carved one out of steel. Worked terrific
