I sat there and watched this coyote asleep in the sun after this big storm. He was about 60-70 yards or so. Not long after 5 more came where he was. It was really cool to watch them communicate and hunt all morning!

I agree with you. Just being there and observing nature is awesome. I don’t feel like I always need to kill something just to enjoy what nature has to offer.

yes, some are beautiful and fun to watch.....but when you loose new born calves due to them, the terms turn 180 degrees.

Oftentimes the just watching is very rewarding as you can observe the animals when you, yourself aren't feeling the added excitement of the hunt. Good for you and lucky for the yote that you were only observing it at the time.

Yes, I agree, sometimes it is fun to watch and observe. Also you might learn something along the way about the animals behaviors to help you in future hunts.
