Something weird in your pellets?

I found an O-ring inside of this tin of JSB .25 Kings:

I found some kind of beetle(it was dead) in a tin of pellets last year. Got me thinking, has anyone else ever found something weird in a tin of pellets before?

The CSIs came, took photos, collected the beetle's body, and did an autopsy, but results were inconclusive. They did tell me that he had a hard life(in and out of trouble) in eastern Europe. Friends said he had been distraught lately because his wife had recently left him for a grasshopper, so they were leaning toward ruling it a suicide.

Not as interesting but I was testing pellets a couple years ago (JSB 16g vs 18g .22s) decided to stick with the 18's. 18months later I went to test to 16g again in a different gun and found the fill probe that prevented me from using the first gun until I sourced a replacement......

Ya I'm with ya on that one thought I lost all my little Steyr LP50 magazines for a while that way too. Had to buy more magazines (OUCH!!!) then later found them again in one of my pellet tins too. Yo!

Well, I was on a rabbit hunt with my girl friend. She was opening a brandnew tin of H&N Sniper Magnums — and between the lead she found gold — her engagement ring!



She almost dropped the rifle when she ran to me to hug me! 

What a great day! 😄







(OK, truth be told, that's how I would arrange our engagement now — if it hadn't occurred already several decades ago..., and if she'd enjoy AG's as much as I do.... 😄 

We still had a great day — did a bunch a crazy stuff to finally get to the point of me presenting her ring...!

And I'd marry her all over again!)
