Something I just discovered about the Crown .25 magazine

It works just fine to shoot .22 pellets.

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a Crown .22 barrel kit which doesn't come with the .22 magazine which needs to be ordered separately. So I also ordered a new magazine in .22 but it is currently back ordered and I have no idea when the magazine might arrive. When the barrel kit did arrive I discovered that the included .22 pellet probe was missing, and after a week of emailing back and forth to Airgun Depot, where I purchased the barrel kit, a .22 probe was next-day-aired and delivered to my doorstep. I installed the barrel kit without any problems but if I wanted to shoot the gun using .22 pellets had no way of loading it unless I used my fat fingers to stick a pellets one at a time into the breach. I discovered that wasn't much fun. Now I do have several .22 FX magazines for other FX guns, a Monsoon and a Bobcat, and although these mags will slide into the breach area without any problem, the Crown pellet probe wouldn't feed the pellet correctly from the magazine into the barrel.

Then for s**** and giggles I decided to try using the .25 Crown magazine which came with my Crown, as it was shipped in .25 cal, and to my surprise the pellets fed from the magazine just fine. And when I say just fine, I mean the magazine feeds a .22 pellet just as smoothly as it does a .25 pellet.

For the last hour I've been loading .22 pellets through the .25 magazine without any issues at all.
