Something happened to my 48? **Update**

Butch
The trigger assembly is clean and lubed, also I loosened the front screw and it was no help. Today while in the shop I drove the cocking stem back in the old piston and if I have time after church tomorrow I think I'll put the old piston back in just to see what it does. I know the stem won't stay long but at least it'll tell me if it's the new piston assembly or in my trigger assembly. I also need to measure the ends of both stems to check the diameters.

I called Umarex Monday AM and got my piston deal fixed, no questions asked. It arrived today so to the shop I went to change the pistons out. I did polish the skirt on the piston and the end of the stem before installing it.

It appears that Diana has realized there is a problem with the design of the piston. As you can see in the photo there is another row of crimps closer to the seal end of the head on the new piston. Also the crimps in the original location are .020" or so deeper. The red marks are where the head slug ends.

BTW the TO5 piston has the extra crimps too.
