Something Exciting Is Coming DNT Optics

The thing is while this works great for airguns with no recoil it needs to withstand the heavy beatings from powder as well. The improved wifi chip makes transfers faster then the original zulus making the app transfer a great option.
Seriously? You are saying that an electronic device (SD Card slot, not the card itself) is affected by recoil from a PB. Then you must be using a pretty seriously weak electronic device. Almost all, if not all, other digital scopes use an SD card. The ThermNight line and now the Zulus line are the only digital scopes I've seen that don't.

And it doesn't matter how much you improve the wifi, it will never perform as well as transferring from an SD card. Not to mention the fact that the wifi only connects to your phone, and you then have to go through the pains of moving it from your phone to your PC. AND DNT doesn't tell you where the app places the transferred files to make it easier to find them and therefore easier to transfer. I still haven't found them on my phone. Luckily I can just tag them for sharing and upload to my One Drive. What a pain.

And when actually hunting, I am not connected to my phone, at least not intentionally. I have no reason to be, it's a distraction from hunting. Target shooting may be a different issue, but I don't think most of us buy a night vision / thermal scope to target shoot. I guess you guys see things through the eyes of a target shooter. This is not an improvement in my eyes.

My biggest issue isn't really what you claim are improvements. My issue is when my PC, running windows or the apple OS, stops recognizing the drive emulation when connected. I've had this happen with my TNC635R and no amount of plugging it in and unplugging it will correct the issue. Yeah, it's a PC problem, but if I had my recordings on an SD card that I can plug directly into the PC, this wouldn't happen. I've ask DNT for assistance on this, and they've been less than helpful. I think mainly because they aren't PC people, which is understandable. But if you make a product that interfaces with PC's, you should be able to assist problems with that interface. So far, DNT has gone silent.

Okay, I don't mean to sound all negative here, I'm not. I think the DNT products are spectacular. I'm just trying to point out that not all "improvements" for some of us, are that. Please look through the eyes of a hunter more, not a target shooter. I'll get off my soap box now.
