Rick Eutsler has provided his review of the Benjamin NP2 SBD in .22 caliber and he found the perfect way to say what so many of us have been thinking. "While in my youth SBD stood for something completely different but the effect should still be the same because a quiet air gun is a deadly air gun." LOL! Well put, Rick!

Well, for those of us who are not American, we should also clarify what it stood for: Silent But Deadly, referring to a type of fart.

For airguns, a silent one can be deadly in that the spooked game will come back sooner or if they're off in the distance, they may come to investigate a quiet noise they've never heard before.

Agree, I have seen this happen, even with what I thought was loud, the different sound profile instead of scaring made them curious.
