After running my Sunday errands I had enough time for a few hours at the dairy. Was hoping to take out the rat I missed yesterday. No such luck, and it was much colder with some strong, gusty wind. I barely missed a shot at a pigeon at 94 yards, over compensated for windage! Was able to score on these four starlings from 30 to 40 yards. There were many more but they did not return. There were also many sparrows, but my time was limited and I was cold. Took this sparrow at 42 yards was looking to double up but his buddy got lucky. Now I’m sitting in front my pellet stove with a cold brew. The pigeon carcass on the roof from yesterday was gone. Some Raptor got a free meal...
