You keep blowing up that backstop berm . It used to be taller and no crater. I bet that dirt weighs tons.

No…it’s full sun. It actually doesn’t feel bad at all. Just wearing a sweatshirt. I’m going to see about setting something up to do that for the nastier days, though.

I’ve shot 14 cards total so far in about equal proportions over 3 different configurations. Electronic strike and 1 piece rest, mechanical strike and 1 piece, and now mechanical strike and 2 piece rest. The 2 piece setup was fussy, but once I figured it out it’s gold.
Unfortunately all 3 configuration were shot on different days and conditions. The differences are statistically negligible and average 250 20x give or take a fraction of an x.
Here’s the highlight of this mornings mechanical strike off 2 piece rest session.
Also a pic of first 10 shots after cleaning with center hold.
This new year is gonna be fun.

That was truly impressive shooting, Mike! I love my HPX but am VERY interested in the latest update of the independent strike system. You continue to raise the bar in your rifles. Best wishes in this New Year to you and Thomas Air!!
