Some days are just not meant to be...

Well today started off wonderful I got out to the range early and got to testing my new bullets for my bulldog. I’m getting decent groups at 100yds and I’m really excited so I start ordering more bullets right at the range. I’m packing up and clearing my gun with the range officer and we both notice something on my bulldog that wasn’t there when we checked the gun in. My Pitbull mega moderator has a chunk missing out of the muzzle. So I start trying to think about what happened and I cannot come up with a reason why that happened. I didn’t notice any accuracy or noise difference through the day. Pitbull makes nice products I even have their single shot tray and it’s perfect. So fast forward to this evening. I’m watching tv when all of a sudden I hear a blast of air. My 70cu ft tank decided to decompress, so I run my butt out of the house with the tank to stop hurting the dogs ears and I let it decompress. I investigate the bottle and see the Oring where the neck and valve connect is bulging out. Not a good day fellas. Started out very well then went downhill. I emailed Pyramid Air and Pitbull Airguns explaining the situation for each issue I had today. Hopefully I get a response quickly tomorrow, I want to get back to the range ASAP. I can’t do much with my bulldog using a 90cu in tank at the range. Here’s some pics of my troubles today.

The tank o-ring is a 5 minute fix, just unscrew the valve, replace o-ring and screw back in.
Not sure about the moderator. Did you happen to lean the gun against something to support it? With that nice "flat" on the side it looks like it would rest right there, pushing the mod slightly to the side.

As John said that's why I think I keep my HW98K in the rack even tough it gets shot little nowadays.

The gun was leaning in a gun rest at the range, the muzzle was in the air pointing to the sky . It looks like something blew out of the front of the moderator because it’s not pushing in and the plastic is broken in the direction away from the muzzle not into the muzzle so it had to be a projectile or the plastic in that area was too thin and couldn’t handle the stress. I contacted Pitbull to see what they recommend. Is it a standard O ring that goes where the valve and neck connect?

Pitbull got back to me as well as Pyramid Air. Pitbull is sending out a replacement asap, great customer service and a pleasure to deal with. Pyramid Air is sending a return box, I guess they want to inspect the tank instead of just sending some o-rings. Which I am perfectly fine with, I'll just have to wait a few weeks to bring the bulldog back out to the range for all day shooting. Pyramid Air has been wonderful, they are on top of everything. My Neilsen bullets came in today to continue my testing with the bulldog but that's on hold until I can hit the 100yd range.
