I understand that FX does not recognize the problem with Royael 400 .22 breach O ring set up. Ever since I bought this gun It blew the O ring after around 80 to 150 shots. Later I talked to Mr. Fredrick who very graciously sent me new brass Transfer ports. Once FX also sent me the new probe. All this helped a bit but not much. Recently some of my friends bought 4 new Royale 400 and all faced the same problem. I understand that the temperature here remains more than 40 C, may be it causes the O rings to further get soften due to which it happens. But it never happen with any of our Royale 500 .25. While closely inspecting of 500 and 400 I concluded that the tolerances and extrusion gap are much different in 500 and 400. Looking at this I locally developed a Brass Transfer port with all similar dimensions except that the breach entrance in which the probe enters is kept just a bit narrow. This provided a little deeper groove to the O ring. This set up is working fine after many hundred shots. Being a keen user of FX guns I wanted to share my experience with other users here who face such problem. I hope FX will take it positively and make the needful amendments in tolerances. Thanks and regards,

90 shore definitely resolves the problem but that hardness is not ideal for extreme long range accuracy of soft JSB pellets.

I did it in the past but then concluded that 70 shore is the best for breach seal.

With 90 shore, the cocking also becomes a bit hard due to the harder material.

If share the pic here, there will be no use as the difference is readable only when checked through vernier caliper.

I have recommended the same to Mr. Fredrick.
