I’m looking to sell all but one of my .22 air rifles and buy a .25 or .30 cal and compressor. So up for sale is my Steyr Hunting 5 Automatic Scout .22. The rifle gets 55 shots on a 200 BAR fill with a standard deviation of about 7 fps. I have babied this rifle and it is in outstanding condition. It comes with the following:
The stock has a Godagrip cheek pad installed. I needed the cheek rest to be raised slightly to accommodate the higher Sportsmatch adjustable rings I used for shooting long distances. The cheek rest is not needed if using medium height Sportsmatch rings and can easily be removed without damaging the stock if desired. I’ll leave it on in case the new owner wants it.
Asking $1800 shipped to your door CONUS ($2,000 if want additional 8 magazines). PayPal friends and family is preferred or you add the extra $90 PayPal fee. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking.
3 magazines - I have 8 more that can be purchased if you like for $25 each. I use 11 magazines because it is enough to fill the gun at 200 BAR and shoot until the both the air reservoir and magazines need refilled at the same time.
Anschutz Sensitive Trigger Shoe- Greatly improves the trigger position on the gun. The original will also be included.
Lighter trigger spring installed so trigger breaks at 4.1 oz.
Machine threaded barrel- I didn’t like the idea of dealing with a grub screw adapter and had the barrel threaded for the moderator so that I could reduce the overall length of the rifle about an inch. The gunsmith that completed the work for me scratched up the finish on the end of the barrel (see pics) and ended up not charging me for the work. I seldom notice the scratches, but when I do it still pisses me off.
Weihrauch Moderator- Screws directly into the barrel.
Picatinny Rail adapter- So you can use dovetail or picatinny rings.
Quick Fill Probe a Standard fill adapter
Additional Hammer Spring- Only problem I’ve had with the rifle is the hammer spring wore out on me. I replaced it and bought a spare just in case.
The manual, tool kit, and Steyr hard case.
