A few years ago just prior to being discontinued, I purchased a new Daina 52 .177 on a whim, and hardly used it. The receiver is date stamped 2017, and I purchased it in late 2018. I haven't shot a full tin of pellets, and it's in as new condition with the exception of some scuffs on the dovetail from scope rings which is to be expected. The Daina 52 has never been outside my home, and lives in a case. This rifle gets very little use, and needs to be in someone else's hands rather than in a case.
I replaced the original spring with a lighter one from Air Rifle Headquarters to make it easier for me to operate the side lever (it's a bitch getting older), and it will push JSB Exact 8.44g pellets 815fps-12.4 ft lb. The original spring will be included to allow you to return the rifle to factory specifications if desired.
The T06 trigger is set to break nicely at 18oz.
The accuracy and repeatability in this configuration is incredible. The attached photo shows an air rifle target at 10 yds with a 5 pellet group using iron sights, a 6 o'clock hold off a shooting stick. The tiny center ring is .177 inch.
It will be double boxed for shipping, including the original Daina carton and manual.
The Redfield Palma rear sight and base are not included, as I plan to use them with a 308 centerfire match rifle.
