.30 WAR. Started life as a Flex, currently in a WARP chassis with a Flex tube. Great gun, accurate as you've read, much better balanced in it's current config, I shoot thumb tacks with it at 100 yards. But this one has always hated me. One of those guns that has vexed me with little annoying things since I've owned it. It's a Cobra valve, external Cobra reg model, 20" .30 TJ barrel with carbon fiber bottle. I have the build sheet for it and everything was working great, until this last little niggle...the MDS hammer was scraping on the Timney trigger sear (you can see the gouge in the pic).
I have a new, original, OEM steel hammer now, 4 different hammer springs (thanks to one great AG'er), and all she needs is someone to get it set up to shoot. I gave it a quick try and she spit on me, again. So I quit. Tank has lots of life left, gun is freakin awesome and without any other issues..she just started losing power as the polymer hammer started swelling and dragging. It's going to be a very easy fix for the very knowledgeable, an easy fix for someone skilled, and a capable fix for someone competent with time. Me..I'm done messing with this.
Comes with all the extras you see, o-rings, 2 OEM mags, 1 aftermarket "parts" mag, extra c-clips and bushings for the barrel retention, Donny Sumo for complete, and I mean highly effective, sound reduction.
I am looking for a high quality, tuned and well cared for R9/HW95L or TX200 or Webley or something along those lines in a springer. Basically, I'd like to have something I can carry around all day OR something I don't have..English guns, an older classic, a 10m, I dunno, but something either spring or SSP. I'd prefer .177 and probably an R9, but I'm open...there are lots of nice AGs out there. I'm figuring the value at a discounted $900. I'm not so inclined to add cash on my side, but we can talk. If I don't trade it, I'll probably part it out unless someone wants to buy it.
Deal by PM, please. I've done plenty of deals, am straight up, and expect you to be, too. Derek Wall has seen and played with this gun for me. If I didn't have such a bad taste in my mouth, I'd call him and ask him to fix it for me...but I'm over it.
