My best springer (.177 LGU) will regularly shoot 1/2 inch or smaller groups at 35 to 40 yards if I settle down and the wind is predictable. Many if not most are sub MOA. I recall reading years ago, that an airgun that can shoot MOA at 50 yds (PCP) or 1.5 MOA at 50 yards (Spring) is an competitive if not champion specimen. Maybe today it should be 0.8 and 1.25 MOA as these guns and the pellets have improved?
