this morning I got a tracking update for a barrel I ordered from chambers in the U.K. Big shout out to pwr2all41998 for the help finding parts.
Anyway, I ordered a threaded barrel from a hw80 to put on my beeman R in 22.It fits wonderfully! Of course I didn't want to leave those threads out in the weather so I affixed a huggett (I know, I knows what yous is thinkins, Supressors don't work on springers). The change was noticeable, especially Inopen areas. My gun has gone from making a THWACK! To more of a SPRUNG sound. Definitely knocked it down a few dB's.
So the results were pleasing, I finished putting it all back together at about 10:40 pm, too late to do much shooting, but I did shoot 5 groups of 10 shots at 10 yards:
group 1 was beeman silver stings
group 2 was h+n field targets
3: predator metal mags
4: jsb exact jumbo heavy
5: h+n barracuda
looking forward to shooting at 20 yards and eventually giving that popular dime challenge a go soon.
