Got a 22 redwolf hp 7.4 volt coming that is used ordered a heliboard 11.1 volt and got a new battery coming along with 22cal 25 gr and some 34 gr pellets as well I'm hoping it will be a shooter

If it's anything like most, it will be a great shooter. Mine did not care for the 34gr pellets but was amazing with the 25.39s.

It's my first daystate hopefully it will be good experience I'm coming from shooting a impact which was good to me but I wanted to try something else

Both platforms are top models of their makers. You will likely see similar performance packaged very differently.

Does anyone know thread size on the barrel for sure Ive read 14 mm x1 and 1/2 x 20 it is supposed to deliver tonight hopefully

Red Wold is standard 1/2x20.
Did you ask about changing out with the higher voltage? I thought I remember when I got a Helliboard that he said it was really important I got the right power board. Maybe some of the parts not being able to handle the extra power??

Just needed the new battery all he said I've read something about the hammer needs to be harder but I don't know if it applies to the redwolf hp model or not

Well I got the red wolf and it was leaking contacted the seller who was very nice about everything and he made thing right I got a valve rebuild kit on the way as well it's laying in pieces on my kitchen table lol

I started adding a little more breathing room for the valve opened up the exhaust port about 15 thousandths took about 10 to 15 thousandths off the metal spacer behind the valve that keeps the hammer from hitting the aluminum and I'm planning to take about 30 thousandths off the poppet stem for more breathing in the throat of the valve I'm also going to look for a lighter return spring for the valve I am thinking about hardening the tip of the hammer and replenishing it I received my pellets mk2 redesigned 25 gr 22 cal and also going to try 34 gr still waiting on the heli board and valve rebuild kit I'll get some pictures posted as well

I did the same thing, you're going to need a battery wire for the 11.1 volt as they are different. I ordered the wire and the latest hammer from AOA, not sure it was needed but I also read about the hardness. Also upgraded to the new magazine and got rid of the indexer as it broke a couple times.

I got a new magazine high capacity from aoa I hardened the front of the hammer I didn't think about the wire I'll have to get one I got it back together just waiting on the heli board just a new set of orings for the valve sealed it up

Well it's back together with gen1 board set on hi power slinging mk2 redesigned 22 cal 25 gr at 938 from 250 bar to about 160 bar can't wait to see what the 11.1 volt helliboard will do for it

It's got a few Knicks in it but it's used and I won't have to worry about me putting in the first dings nice rifle I really like it only chronoed it haven't gotten to shoot yet

My heli board should be here tomorrow as well as my battery wire so I'll be able to get my upgrade done

You will need to get some parts from AoA or Daystate. I have the .22hp Redwolf, came with a 7.4, ordered the 11.v heliboard, and a new battery. Sent it to AoA for the internal parts. What's seem to happen is the 7.4 parts will have issues running at a higher power level available to the 11volts.
Hammer and Seat, was only IIRC about $100 plus labor. I wasn't willing to risk internal damage.

I hardened the hammer and have a new poppet and new valve seat on hand so if the original goes out I can fix it already
