My question:
Just how fast can slugs go? We all know Diabolo pellets have a max of upper 800’s to maybe mid 900’s but do slugs have a max?
I was tuning .25 cal 38.5 gn around 915 FPS and then I shot a few 29.5 gn slugs over the ProChrono at the same setting. Holy smokes....1009 FPS!
That’s when I asked myself, could these be shot that fast? What determines the velocity?
