So....how do ya fix the pin

that holds the cocking lever together on a Gen I Wildcat? It's the mid-joint pin.

Mine fell out yesterday, I luckily found it (pretty small). I was thinking maybe some nail polish at the top end to 'bush it up'? I have read where this was a notorious issue with some of the FX line up early on, but now it's happening to my Gen I.

I went to the hardware store and bought a roll pin. IT work very well.

I took the pin in the store and bought a roll pin just hair over size. Good luck

Going with a roll-pin will work perfectly, but if you'd like to use what you have.. 
Just coat the factory pin with a bit of Blue [temp hold] Loctite, pop er' back in, let it set up, and call it good.
I've used that method a bunch of times, and it works like a charm every time.

Yep, my local yokel hardware store hadda pin the right diameter, just a little long. So I got it and Dremeled it into shape. Dab of lube, popped it in and seems to be good to go.
