Has anyone seen a direct comparison in accuracy between the original smooth twist barrel and the new smooth twist-X? There probably aren't too many people who could do such a test right now, since you'd have to have both versions of the barrel and swap them in the same rifle. Ernest mentioned doing accuracy testing at some point, but I haven't seen it in any of his (excellent) videos yet.
I also know that Matt and Ted both have Crowns, but shot their Impacts at EBR. Mat was using a new X barrel though, and I'm not sure about Ted's. I'm guessing the Crowns are so new that maybe people stuck with the Impact due to not having enough time to practice and learn the Crown?
My reason for asking is that I'm really wanting a .25 or .30 barrel for my Impact, and I'd like to know if there's a good reason to wait until the X barrels become available. Impact barrels are available, of course now that people want the new ones
Thanks,
Rusty
