Smith & Wesson Model 79G reseal

I am planning to reseal my Smith & Wesson Model 79G and was wondering if I should coat the new o rings with Pell Gun Oil first? Good idea or not??

I just rebuilt my 79G. I used the urethane seals and coated them in Pellgun oil. More for ease of installation then long term protection of the seals. I installed the first kit then found the valve was leaking. Check the valve closely, there is a seal on it that does not come in rebuild kits.So I had to buy another complete rebuild kit with a new valve which is about $37 from Baker Airguns.
