Smaug's Pesting Videos

I don't know about you guys, but I sometimes like to go an re-watch hunting videos. With my videos being Unlisted on YouTube, that makes it hard to do: you have to have the link. So I'm going to put the links here, and update it as I add more videos:

"ddransoml"It is clear! With that much clarity I was gonna copy your whole setup were it scope cam mounted footage. I take it equipment is expensive; I can't get into that aspect of airgunning yet...at the point where I'm lying to my wife about the cost of this stuff.
Well, the camera is easier to justify, as it has many uses. Vacation pix, family pix, wildlife pix. Video clips of the kids or grandkids...The telephoto zoom has optical image stabilization and zooms (in 35mm lens equivalent) from 25-400m. The lens is Leica-branded. This model is a couple years old now. When its replacement inevitably comes out, look for clean used ones on FeeBay as folks upgrade.

The camera is a Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. They're $800 new or $575 used. Maybe cheaper if you look hard.

Mine was a Panasonic refurb. Tripods are cheap. Mine is a Slik U8000 from the early 90s. Kind of a mid-grade one, but from a top brand. It was $65 or something.

One other thing you can do is to sell gear from previous hobbies to help fund this one. I do that all the time.

You could also point out that the camera helps to pay for itself. Some of my old YouTube videos have tens of thousands of views. I think one of my hand-loading ammo videos is my most popular one, still. Multi-tool and Swiss army knife reviews help too. Having better photos of items that you'll see on ebay also helps to fetch more money for them. A good digital camera is indispensable these days.
