I've cut down 1 of my tko too for little noise consequence. Silence is the 2nd most important thing to me on an air rifle and the tko worked so good I have to reverse engineer it. How they did them is a genius way for replacement partsYeah I’m looking into a shroud but I do have a 1/2x20 adapter as I’m not using the front sight. Was hoping to find something shorter than a TKO.
Without having one in my possession to see how they are built, what was your process to cut one down? This may be the solution I was looking for. I have a lathe if needed as I’m a gunsmith by trade.I've cut down 1 of my tko too for little noise consequence. Are you able to fill with the TKO mounted ?You don't say how short you want? I have the 5" TKO on my 1701P & it is very quite. If you want even shorter give TKO a call as they state-Custom lengths are available for special projects. Call or email us your needs.
Pop out an end, drop the "baffles" take some measurements and baffle counts and cut it with a chop saw or tube cutter. Back when I ordered from him, you could specify length.Without having one in my possession to see how they are built, what was your process to cut one down? There's enough info on what they're made of, i just don't want to step on his toes at all. If you 3d print or have a small lathe there's options there too.
