Slugs- my experience

I am looking for MOA at 100, PRS doesn't need to be THAT precise as its just ringing steel at least thats what I find from the one event I shot at with PRS. I am gunna hold out for the end of the year and see if an HPS comes out if not I will try the .30 with the Hybrids.
The hybrids are one slug that I have not tried, but are said to be a good shooter out of the Evol's. You'll likely find a slug that will be around 1 moa. Mine would do that all day until I polished the bore a little too much experimenting with accuracy.

I'd like to throw in my 2¢. I've been experimenting with slugs for years. I cast my own and I have a very large selection of swaged slugs from different vendors. I don't have a single airgun that was designed to shoot slugs. I have managed to find a slug that will shoot decently if not great in almost all of them. Notice, I said airguns and not pcps specifically. Yes, I shoot slugs in break barrels, pumpers, and even co2 pistols. Should I? Who knows, but it works.

Numbers and twist rates are good, and I'm not disparaging any of that. I'm saying to read, research and experiment. There are others that have gone before you and a lot of them share their experiences here, on other forums, and on YouTube. I owe my success to many of them. Slugs are another tool in our toolbox that keeps this hobby interesting and fun.
