Taipan Slugs in a .25 Vet 1 S

I did with a .22 Vet 1 shorty. It seemed to shoot anything I could push into the barrel. I didn't re-zero, just compensated for the drop and was hitting targets such as bottles or cans. I was probably around 30 yards. Unfortunately, I parted ways with my Vet.

As far as I know, the Veteran 1 .25 from a few years ago had LW barrel with tight chokes. The more recent ones have unchoked CZ barrels. I'm not sure when they made the transition but guns from the last half of last year have the CZ barrels according to Taipan. The type of barrel you have might be a large contributing factor whether the gun will shoot slugs well or not.

There was some back & forth on the forum regarding the gen 1 guns that Tony had in stock back when I made my purchase.

The impression I have is that it has a CZ barrel, but I'm not 100% on that.

It's not a huge deal to me, but I get the impression that these guns aren't super ammo choosey & in my limited experience w it that's been true.

The little choad flings 34 gr pellets to 100 yds just fine. If it throws slugs that'd be even sweeter.
