Slugs for Condor

I have a Condor in .22cal and was wondering if anyone had experimented with the different slug offerings and found something that they like.

I had a .25 Condor SS and it loved Rat Snipers.

My .22 condor like flat base up to .24g in .5.49 n boat tail slugs from 28g up to 40g .Nielsen

High 800 plus I think is best. Condor has plenty of power

My Talondor like the D-rig varmint knockers 33.5. Gun tuned to shoot jsb 25.4 @ 1000 fpe and the slugs run @ 910. The jsb 33 mk ll @ 950. All 3 very accurate. The vk's has a bc of .096 and do they slice through the wind. They are the ticket for going long.

Very nice. Which valve cap size are you using?

@corvid_hunter. standard condor tophat but highly ported and and polished and the valve spring massaged.

@corvid_hunter. Remove 1 coil. Polish the end smooth after cut.

You should try the boat tails my .22 cal condor barrel like them a lot..available from 28g to 44g on Ebay Nielsen don't sell them in .22 anymore. i have tried them up to 40g they shoot thousands time better than the flat base of the same weight because have less drag on the barrel .. flat base shoot great up to 25g if I size them to .249 ... even my taipan. 22 long could shoot.28g great because the less drag .even when it don't like anything above 21g in flat base.
