Slugs barrel??

in the .22 cal slug barrel is the transfer port hole bored out for more speed? Or do they leave it the same size?

For FX .22 Impacts most people modify the brass transfer port and pellet probe for a big improvement in power but FX manufactures them all the same.

The slug "barrel" is just the liner. The barrel inlet is the same regardless of which liner you put in there.

Ahh I forgot I was thinking of the old barrels. But bob does your impact barrel have a larger transfer port hole. I remember on my old impact I had the barrel transfer port drilled bored out by Ernest.

Even the old smooth twist the port is not in the barrel, it's in the barrel inlet (brass piece)

Birdslayer, I'm not understanding your thumbs down reply. What GC said is correct. I know both of the Royale's and the Wildcat MKI that I owned with just the Smooth Twist barrel has a separate brass inlet port that screws on to the barrel.
