Slug vs pellet liners what's the difference?

The twist rates are different and the chokes are different too. Matt Dubber wouldn’t tell me exactly what the difference is though. A trade secret I guess. To find out which is which, you have to measure the twist rate of the liner. Mark the beginning of the twist on the exterior of the liner and mark the end of the twist after it’s made one complete revolution around the exterior of the barrel from where the twist started. Then measure that distance. You should get something like 1:21” for example.

I think he said the choke was shorter and not as tight. There was also something different between the slug and pellet liners that had to do with the depth of the smooth twist rifling. I want to say in the slug liners the rifling isn't as tight or restrictive either. It's all proprietary, so like I said, he was pretty tight lipped about it. Totally understandable since it's a trade secret and the accuracy of their barrels is one of their major selling points. The point is that there's more to the difference in barrels than just the choke and twist rates.
