Air Venturi Slug speed

That's pretty heavy for that platform. Chronograph is a very important tool once slugs come in to play. I find slugs due to a larger bearing surface to be 20-30 fps slower than the same weight pellet plus they typically need even more speed to stabilize. I'd personally stay 22-25gr to keep my gun from being over stressed needing higher settings plus a better shotcount. That's all still up to you though. A 2000psi reg setting with the hammer maxed minus one full turn and a .22gr slug is one setting I found to work well.

He said .25 cal TH. If all you're going to shoot is 30 yards I'd recommend just shooting pellets. Anything less than 75 yards pellets are more accurate IMHO.
