I'm looking for info on different slug manufacturers and experiences with them. Besides Nielson and H&N as I have shot with those quite a bit. From my research, I found griffin slugs, inferno slugs, rat sniper slugs, vk and pro hunter. How do these stack up against nielson in terms of quality and customer experience? Any other recommendations are appreciated

In my opinion, the JSB and H&N are the way to go if your barrel has a choke. The softer lead squeaks through the choke easier. If your barrel is unchoked, go with the cheaper NSA slugs. All three have very similar shapes and ballistic coefficients. I'm gravitating towards heavier slugs because weight has the greatest effect on BC. Shooting them slower doesn't seem to affect accuracy like I've heard it would.

its hard to beat the .218, H&N 25gr hp from my Impact mk2/pp @ 1000fps 
i've tried about all you have listed in my 700mm slug liner-A.
nick's .218, 24.8gr dbhp would be the next best for me.
