N/A Slug Life - A Thread Dedicated to Showing and Discussing PCP Slug Guns

Watching this thread. My new .25 EQ will be slug tuned. First day back from the hospital, so I'm behind. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet.

After spending 4-5 years of "trying" to get pellet guns to shoot slugs I decided to keep my pellet guns pellets and my slugs guns slugs. I have two dedicated slug rifles. My max range is 100 yards, but both of these have shown to produce MOA groups - not all the time but enough for me to be happy.

1) Huben K1 in .25. I shoot the 51gr Altaros slugs @ 895 fps.

2) Mora in .25. I shoot the 66gr Altaros Kings @ 895-900fps.

I absolutely love testing and shooting slugs, especially .25, as some of you here on AGN remember. Slugs, barrels and airguns have improved leaps and bounds, especially over the last 3-4 years! And... There's a lot more cool stuff coming in the next year! It's a great time to be a slug shooter!

Here are my favorite slug airguns. All exceptionally precise to at least 275yds, the M3 to 350yds and the Skout/Corbin combo to over 400yds! I'd call 8/10 on ground squirrels at 405yds pretty damn precise and capable!

1. Skout Epoch .25, custom 35" slug barrel, Corbin 48.8gr at 990fps.

2. FX Impact MK2 .25, prototype 1:16" slug barrel, Zan 37gr at 995fps.

3. FX Impact, 700mm, M3 .22, 1:16" slug barrel, Zan 30.5gr (.218") at 1040fps or Altaros 32gr at 940fps.

4. RAW HM1000x .25 in a MPA chassis, LW 1:24" barrel, Varmint Knocker 32.8gr at 975fps or Zan 33gr at 980fps.

5. Huben GK1 .22 pistol, not a traditional slug airgun but it shoots lightweight Zan 20gr or ARG 21gr slugs exceptionally well inside 50yds!

Wow I like your set up it totally kicks grass I found a Texan at my favorite pawn shop but the caliber is not written on it , or the model name.? It's for $715 , and the pawn broker said make a down payment , and I'll give you 10 months to pay it off. It's very long , so I don't think its a condor. The muzzle brake more than a 1" around.
