Taipan Slug choices for .25 vet 2

So far my best back yard results have come with the AVS .253 35g dish base done at 30yd. Prone with a bipod. Not a very challenging distance for slugs but still fun to play. This pic is the entire mag and of course, I pulled a couple of them when the ants were chewing on me.

My Vet 1 preferred the 28g version of those AVS slugs printing a similar group.

Neither rifle seemed to like Nielsen 34.9g slugs which is unfortunate because they're cheaper.

Edit: Both rifles are standard length tactical versions with no adjustments made for output.
