What you shoot flat base or dish base or cup base slugs well and what gun and cal . Thanks for any input !

I swage my own slugs with Corbin equipment. In the beginning I ordered punches for FB DB and cup base. I have tried in FX Impact M2 , Pantehera and DRS PRO as well as Leshiy 2 . 22 and 25 caliber. none seemed to shoot the cup base all that great. But all seemed to shoot the dish base really good! So for me and my guns DB first flat base second. But my friiend and I have both just started swaging boat tail slugs and they seem to be doing great. Only have the boat tail punch in 22 caliber so far. My DRS PRO shoots the boat tails awsome! I hope this is usefull information.

The biggest effect the base of the slug has is controlling your seating depth for pin probe guys.

Flat and dish-base hollow-points mostly in my .357 Bulldogs. I prefer dish-base. In my Rattler .357 I like to use flat-base hollow-point slugs. I‘m usually shooting 65 yards and under with these guns.

Flat base in my Vulcan 3 30 cal but honestly haven't even swaged the dish base yet because it's shooting MOA or less at 100 now so just kinda lazy about switching parts out and testing
