Slop on MTC Viper Pro parallax adjustment

"Brian10956"Pat,
is this the post you where referring to
https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/mtc-viper-pro-problems/
not really the problem mentioned on that post.

my focus works fine, it's just that moving the opposite way from a focus point, the wheel will move an inch before it Adjusts again.
This makes it very annoying to go back and forth for fine adjustments, and impossible to range find were I to mark the wheel for that purpose.

Apparently all the Viper Pro scopes do this.
I'm severally disapointed.

I bought the Viper Pto because it purported to be good for hunting, FT, and bench rest.

It took me a very long time to decide on the Viper Pro, and even longer to save up for it, not to mention selling my best scope, a Hawke Sidewinder, to buy it.

I watched countless vids on it, not one person mentioned the parallax slop, something that makes it damn near unuseable for FT. Hell, even on the range it sux.

Unlike people that do so called reviews, I cannot just get a different company to give me a different scope for a favorable review.

Neither am I rich. I struggle to buy the best equipment available to avoid junk like this.
I won't even sell this piece of poop, I actually have ethics, something MTC apparently lacks.

It will take me 3 or 4 months now to be able to purchase a replacement brand, which was part of the money that was earmarked for Arizona this year.

This has torn me up to the point I may find something different to do with my time. I just can't risk throwing away this sort of money again, especially since I can't trust my peers to give the complete story on very expensive products
