Sling for HW50S

Does anyone have a good way to make a sling work with a springer? Advice and pictures appreciated. Thanks

Call AoA and see if they can get you the sling swivels for an HW50K

It goes on the barrel similar to the 35E. Come to think of it, the 35E barrel is the same diameter as the 50S so you can probably just ask for the sling swivel for that.

I wonder if the 50s ball bearing lockup will support it like the 35s
lever release.

The 50S is a wedge lockup, not a ball. You'll be good to go.

If you use a barrel mounted sling swivel under tension for shooting support, especially a sling with an arm loop I would imagine there would be a strong sideways force on the barrel. Doubt it would break or permanently bend anything but it could pull the barrel to the left (if shooting right handed) and throw accuracy off. Could it pull the breech open with a small downward force from the sling? Or it may not be an issue a all, I don't know never tried it.
