This one sprayed like crazy. I took the Heart and Lung at about a 45 deg angle hitting further back anticipating the flight path going down and into the vitals. The sound was INSANE from impact, and it made me really question if I went too far back. This is why I took that immediate headshot.

If you have haven't experienced the R5M or Leyla 2.0 I highly recommend it. As seen with Ed's recent videos, the things are built to last... and like mechanical butter after a couple tins of breaking it in.

thanks... a testament to how well made and designed that double sided cocking lever is. Thing is so smooth.

What pellets were you using at what velocity? I refrain from shooting the stinkers because I fear they may spray and smelling my property for weeks. You're right the first shot probably was enough it anchored it right there. I wouldn't take another shot unless they started walking off.

I've killed 20 with the Leshiy in a low power tune of ~ 15ft/lbs... 520fps 26gr polymags or 540fps 25gr kings. Those were all H/L shots and almost no spray at all. They all let out just a little right when they die, but with headshots... they spray everywhere.

I've had the R5M on a few of them... 615fps shooting 34gr MK2's. That's what I got this one with.

I think they are all out for some bonus food before hunkering down. I stayed up and monitored the cameras for a bit, but no skunks came... that might have been it. We will see what the weather does. Sounds like nice weather this week... so you never know.
