Hi. Interested in Epoch copmact at first in 177. But honestly i do not understad the princip how it works. It has two regs and one is set on very high pressure and another on very low? And what does the electricity do? If the energy is controlled from reg pressure then what does the electric part?

I have an Epoch compact and love it. Mine is a 30. From what I have read the 2 Regs work in conjuncation with each other and even though I have read about it , it’s not completely clear to me. The gun has no traditional hammer and from my understanding that’s where the electric part comes in. The computer in the handle has quite a few functions but doesn’t actually regulate the power for each shot.

There are a couple of Epoch/Evo threads with fairly comprehensive details you should also try the Skout website and look up spool valves as used on paintball guns for 20 odd years, and you will get an idea of how it all works.
