Skout bipod or bench rest

Looking at the Skout Epoch, it appears that most are either using a bottle rest or bipod that attaches to the side ARCA rails on each side of the rifle so as not to interfere or test directly on the bottle.

I would appreciate receiving some recommendations and photos from those of you who have figured out a solution that works well.

Bipod is superior unless you have a solid flat surface to rest on a Benchrest.

IMO there are way too many variables with a setup like this

Works great ... folds up out of the way. can use partially extended & vertical, or tilted forward at full extension.

Skout just release an ARCA rail with Mlok slots and mount points for weights.

Got them off ebay .
There are a lot of versions and this one which is all steel, Ball bearing lock collars on legs & IIRC a 6-9" range

Motorhead - have you been using a Skout for FT ? Or just piddling?

The new lower ARCA rail is beefy and very solid. Skout also makes a 4 lb stainless weight to hang from the rail for a seriously stable rifle. Better pics tomorrow.
