Skout Airguns - EVO

Okay, only SLIGHTLY better looking than the first one.

@Skout-airguns , I love what you're doing guys. New manufacturer, new technology, really great to see a new face in the airgun manufacturing sector....and hopefully you will take this as constructive criticism.....please o please find somebody to help you out with aesthetics. Your first two offerings look like super soakers that got spray painted black. They're just blocky and square and chunky. Find some pleasing lines somewhere, cuz your first two offerings don't have any.

Chassis style guns can look nice too, sexy lines and visual appeal arent limited to sporters and wooden stocks. There are appealing chassis airguns on the market, even bottled ones, but the Skouts are not them.

So far you guys seem especially receptive to input, take my opinion and run with it. Airgunners everywhere will thank you, probably mostly by voting with their checkbooks and credit cards.

What issues have you had with the mag? Fellow lefty here!
1st I want to thank You for the direct response.
I do not have the Epoch, Yet, Darryl and I have been in contact since December and I have a standing quote/order from him on the gun.

my only concerns with buying it right now are as follow's
1) Magazine location in reference to my cheek as a lefty
2) Noise level in .22 cal 25" barrel with Standard Moderator versus the Whisper percentage wise

Of course! I do not have any problems at all with it, you do not even notice it is there. The mag sucks far into the upper. The whisper kit helps the noise level significantly vs stock.

I appreciate the input, have you had the chance to hold the Epoch in hand? I don’t think pictures quite do it justice in terms of size. The EVO especially is nice in hand and we redid the lower aesthetics and layout to improve from the Epoch.

I saw a gold one in person on the raffle tables at EBR. Very likely the same one centercut owns now. But no, I did not pick it up.

I dont think its even close to a super soaker. Form follow functions and I think it is a nice combination of technology in a form factor that allows the features they are offering. I like the looks and they are constantly improving.

Will it ship like the Epoch with 3 liners (barrels) and the hard case?
1 barrel, and we will be offering the option to purchase without a hard case. Starting price is $1999 which is without a tank and case. Both are available as add on options with the gun. We are offering it like this for those who have many tanks and cases.

.25 will be first then .30 and .22. The .25 is 1:23. Still finalizing things on .30 and .22
So that would be the pellet barrel twist rate? Can you list the twist rate for the slug barrels? Also, when you and 3 others shot Skouts at the Florida Slug a thon did the group use the new slug barrel in .25?
