SKIRTLESS Pellet — or Low BC Slugs?!? 🤔

❓ SKIRTLESS Pellets —— or LOW BC Slugs?!? 🤔

Yeah, what's up with that?!

At least last year when Nick of NSA drastically lowered the prices of airgun slugs to give more airgunners access to them — there have been people asking:

"What is a slug anyway?"

And "Why slug? Why not bullet?"

➔ Let me add to the confusion! 😄

And present you with a selection of projectiles that were invented before our current slug times (cf. the collage below).

❓Are these SKIRTLESS pellets?

❓Or are these slugs with a low ballistic coefficient (BC)?

▪Now, to be sure, not all projectiles presented there have a low BC (e.g., the H&N Piledriver can go as high as 0.083).

▪Not all have most of their sidewall riding on the lands.

▪Not all have straight sidewalls, nor smooth sidewalls.

▪Not all are "headless."

🔶 Have fun with creations from the UK, Turkey, Germany, Spain, and Argentina, branded or rebranded as FX, RWS, Hatsan, Gamo, Norica, H&N, JSB, etc.
