Skip pages?

On a thread with a lot of pages, is there a way to skip ahead to a certain page?

You can press the page button, or you can click the most recent post. Those are the two ways I know. Both of those, however, are when you are not inside the topic.

Go up to the address bar and type page # you want

Evidently, my extreme shortage of computer skills is the problem. Thanks for the attempts to help.
