Went to the range again today it was cold and miserable with a bit of a breeze. Fingers were just cold enough to where it was difficult to to load the pellets in the gun so I did not stay long. Still i did manage to find the sweet spot for the not sorted and not lubed JSB 18.2 .22 pellets. You can see by the group sizes how it went. Five shots per group. Yellow is at 75 yards red is 100.
The one marked factory setting is at 910fps for the largest group and got mixed up with my first go at 845 in the center of that group. I made all of the velocity adjustments with the adjuster dial on the bottom of the gun turning it two clicks clockwise at a time till I hit 845 which showed promise so I did one click to get to the 835fps which it seemed to like best with these pellets. Sorry the 980 is posed to be 890 dyslectic a bit?
I did clean the barrel first it has quite a tight choke on it. So these groups were shot on a recently cleaned barrel.
Oh, and fergot to say this thing is a bit snappy with it's report when shooting. It's a loud high pitched snap that I would think would make it not too back yard friendly in it's stock form. There are baffles in the moderator but things are still a bit noisy.
