SK-19 0wners and others as well I found another serious first world problem!!!

;^) This is what I found when my gun was returned from warranty repair. After all of the bouncing around and rough treatment from the shippers. The gun is no longer secured to the case and can bounce around inside and even fall out if care is not taken. The straps are about as cheap as one could possibly make them and expect them to werq at all. They should be twice as thick to have any chance of holding up. The eyelets are way to lightweight as well. Looks like I will turn this over to my brother as he does leather werq and has all the tools and supplies. Darn first world problems anyway always popping up everywhere I go. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take! ;^) Anyway just be sure your case is laying flat before you open it and don't tilt it excessively once opened. I much prefer my older gen1 Impact case it is built so much better and not so bulky.

it is time to recycle that case and buy a good one

of course i can't see the whole case but what i can see is flimsy

should i assume a 2000.00 plus gun was in there

when shipping any pricey gun i build a custom cardboard box the shape of the gun with padding, inner and outer box

but if the gun made it and it's just the case you got lucky

and about the first world problem, i don't think so

Yup a $2K gun in there and it came through the ordeal in good shape. The case will get modified and be better than new. I actually thought it was good enough to make the trip until I saw the straps and eyelets holding them or should I say not holding them?

I thought first world problems were things that just don't matter like most eveyrthing but housing, food and clothing.
