Size? NSA slugs for .22 FX M3 Impact

In 23 grain I had great luck with .216, .2165 and .217 so any would do. The .216 does shoot a little faster but I’m sticking with 217 for all my 22 slugs just so I don’t get confused and order the wrong one since I do order different weights from time to time. The 217 23 grain is phenomenal in superior liners.

Also had great luck with .248 grain in 217 out of superior heavy, this is a 5 shot group at 150 yards without fine tuning from my crown. The wind was relatively cooperative that day.

just my personal opinion that if you gonna shoot slugs then just upgrade to slug/heavy liner, zero down side because I can even shoot crosman pellets out of heavy liner like a laser. Since you got an impact then don’t bother with superior.

I know a lot of peeps like the 216.5 in the bigger ones? And .217 for smaller ones, For 4 years, I can’t get any of them to shoot better than the .218s? It pisses me off when things that work for others won’t work for me! Seems to be my Airgun MO? Cursed I am!

Exactly. I even bought a couple boxes of the .2165 NSA 31.2 grain to shoot in the Maverick. 600mm Superior Heavy. 950 fps. Everything exactly as some tack drivers I’ve been told by one VERY GOOD shooter and FX guru.
So nada, zilch, zero. Accuracy sucked. Couldn’t group inside a quarter at 50 yards. Bought another Superior Heavy. Same crap. Tried the Superior and Slug A. Same o same o crap. Put the Superior back in and detuned for RDMs at 960 fps. Very accurate. Will sell this one, don’t need another RDM heartbreaker…. ;(
