Six Rats Tonight with my new Binoculars...

Went to the dairy today after work for two hours. Wanted to test the binoculars in the field. Turns out they are “rat approved” the fatest rat at 25 yards in the shadows facing me. The other five at forty yards. My wicked Bantam is murderous. Loving the binoculars.

Nice work Mr. L.Leon! Pretty sure 75% of my GS shots are because I was using binoculars and without I would never have seen the target.

Forget the range finder and bring the binoculars!

@flintsack, I almost always first spot my prey through binoculars, I spend the bulk of my pesting time glassing. So you are correct, I did not kill those rats with my binoculars. It was my Bantam that did the deed.

@ranchibi, the big momma was facing me at the shot, she just rolled over dead. I believe the JSB 18 travelled the length of her body. Head on shots are devastating on them.

With good glass a pair of bino should easily have enough mass to generate enough FPE for a quick humane kill with a good swing. However, the stalking skill needed is above average to say the least.
